With the support of the National Science Foundation – Geotechnical Women Faculty Program (GTWF), Rowan undergraduate students developed diverse experiments and hands-on activities for local high schools. Four areas in geotechnical engineering were selected, covering coastal erosion, soil liquefaction, soil reinforcement, and earth retaining wall. Graduating Senior, Samuel Mossop made a virtual presentation to students from Salem High School and Kingsway High School in South Jersey. Fellow undergraduate students Michael Mroz, Tyler Mericle, Seth Pierson, Adam King, Dino Spinelli, and Piero Benites-Navarrete also supported the development of these experiments. The student team is advised by Dr. Sarah Bauer and Dr. Cheng Zhu.
