Are you a New Jersey high school student interested in learning more about engineers and the ways in which they impact our world and society?

The National Summer Transportation Institute will engage you in projects and field trips that demonstrate how all types of engineers (from aerospace to software) plan and maintain our systems of transportation around the states of New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

This program is funded by the National Summer Transportation Institute and Rowan University and is FREE of charge to eligible students. Meals and transportation for field trips are included in the program.

NEW JERSEY STUDENTS ENTERING GRADES 10-12 IN FALL 2019

Participants will:

• Tour locations and traffic systems not normally accessible to the general public
• Meet with professional engineers and instructors from around the state
• Engage in engineering lab activities that help you better understand engineering within the transportation industry
• Meet fellow local high school students who share your interest in engineering
