Researchers Hope to Improve Access to Public Transit in Camden

Camden Community Partnership (CCP) is partnering with Rowan University’s Center for Research and Education in Advanced Transportation Engineering Systems (CREATEs) to brainstorm creative solutions.

The first step in that process is surveying the city. Residents who complete an online questionnaire at this link are entered into a chance to win one of 40 $25 gift cards.

Through the survey, researchers hope to get a better understanding of what issues residents are facing in their daily trips and what sort of “core services,” like education or healthcare, they need to access, said Mohammad Jalayer, a professor at CREATEs who’s conducting the survey.
