Jared Oren has sixteen years’ experience leading organizations, groups, and individuals in combat and peacetime to accomplish a variety of military engineering missions worldwide, from rapid research and development to combat engineering and construction. He was Acting Chief, Research & Engineering Division, Apr-Oct 2019, responsible for leading five R&D branches which comprise the division, consisting of 185 engineers, scientists, technicians, and administrative personnel, and executing a total (predominantly reimbursable) annual budget of $50M.   Since 2013, Jared has been Chief of Engineering Resources Branch, and is responsible for leading 57 engineers, scientists and technicians. ERB DELIVERS engineering solutions to our Warfighters and the Nation involving RDTE related to systems and equipment, pavements and materials, oil and the environment, and energy applications for use in cold regions.
