Biography

Dr. Mohit Chaudhary is currently leading two Department of Defense (DoD) funded projects at namely ‘Full-Scale Evaluation of Fiber-Reinforced Hot Mix Asphalt’ and ‘Development of self-healing asphalt mixtures using nano particle modified asphalt binders’.

Dr. Chaudhary received his Ph.D. in the field of transportation engineering on the topic ‘Fatigue characterization of asphalt mastics and mixtures incorporating waste fillers’ from IIT (BHU), Varanasi, India in 2022. He worked on assessing the suitability of polyethylene terephthalate in bituminous concrete mixes during his masters at IIT (BHU). He holds a B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering from BBDNITM, Lucknow, India. Dr. Mohit has authored/co-authored and contributed numerous peer reviewed journal articles and presentedhis work in several international conferences. He is also the reviewer of many peer reviewedjournals. His research interests include asphalt binder rheology, pavement materialcharacterization, waste fillers, asphalt mastics & mixtures, waste plastics, reclaimed asphalt pavement, and nano modifiers.
