Biography

Dr. Goli is currently working on two projects funded by the Department of Defense (DoD) - "Insulated Flexible Pavements" and "High Elastic Asphalt Binders and Mixes (HEB) for Use in Cold Regions." These projects aim to find solutions for pavement distress in extremely cold weather conditions. Additionally, he is working on the development of pavement design procedures for Microsurfacing using 100% Recycled Asphalt Pavement Material (RAP), sponsored by the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT).

Dr. Goli holds a Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India, and completed his master's degree at the National Institute of Technology Warangal, India. His Ph.D. research involved developing specifications for High Modulus Asphalt (HiMA) Mixes in India. Before joining the CREATES team, he was an Assistant Research Manager at Larsen and Toubro Construction in India, where he led research projects on topics like the efficiency of plastic coatings in asphalt mixes and cement grouted asphalt mixes.
