Developing a Pavement Management System for the Borough of Collingswood

The current version of the Street Sense includes a data collection module (i.e. sensor) that can collect location of potholes and cracks on roadway. This sensor can be attached to any vehicle and does not require driver to drive at low speed. Furthermore, a web-based user interface has been developed for interaction and visualization of collected roadway conditions. The proposed project will focus on continuing research and development activities by integrating Collingswood roadway network, and eventually developing an asset management tool for the borough of Collingswood.
