Predictive Modeling for Bridge Condition Assessment

Abstract: This project aims to create a framework for evaluating the state of bridges using data from the National Bridge Inventory (NBI). Specific goals are: (1) Determine the main causes of the decline in bridge condition, (2) Create prediction models using NBI data to forecast the state of the bridge, (3) Assess the predictive models' accuracy and dependability, and (4) Examine how predictive modeling could help guide decisions on bridge asset management.
