Developing a PMS Improvement Roadmap for NJDOT

Abstract: 

This project created a detailed roadmap to advance NJDOT’s pavement management system over the next decade. The team performed a gap analysis through staff interviews, document reviews, and benchmarking against peer agencies. Workshops prioritized actions, identified resources, and recommended improvements to dTIMS integration and modeling accuracy. Customized training equipped NJDOT staff with the knowledge to implement and maintain the updates. The roadmap positions NJDOT to streamline workflows, improve analysis quality, and meet evolving federal asset management requirements.
